The annual festival opened on Thursday, July 26 – and first night festival-goers celebrated event founder Alex Trenchard’s 40th birthday at the opening party.

Pop star Paloma Faith headlined the main stage at Standon Lordship on Friday night after a thunderstorm had delayed the festival earlier in the day.
Django Django performed on the Friday, with The Hunna also going down a storm on the BBC Introducing Stage.

Chart-topping Shotgun singer-songwriter George Ezra was Saturday’s main attraction, playing to a field full of family and friends during an emotional Hertfordshire homecoming headline slot.
The impressive Shame had earlier shone on the main stage, before American rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club brought their intoxicating dark riffs to Standon.
Roxy Music legend Bryan Ferry closed the main stage on Sunday night.
The likes of Goldfrapp, The Cuban Brothers, The Bootleg Beatles, Pale Waves, Gaz Coombes, Marmozets, Dream Wife and The Amazons also appeared over the weekend, while Pulp star Jarvis Cocker performed a DJ set.

Alongside the music, there was a fancy dress parade and dog show, while revellers could take a dip in the manor house’s swimming pool.
