Lauren Parker will return to action at the scene of her most treasured memory date.

The Letchworth boxer will fight on Saturday at York Hall, the venue at which she claimed the EBU European Super Flyweight title in 2022.

And with fond memories of the famed East London venue, Parker is looking forward to another successful night in the capital.

Ahead of the bout, with a yet to be confirmed opponent, Parker said: "York Hall is iconic. All the legends have fought there, and it’s a privilege for me as a boxer to compete in that venue.

"While it may not be the largest space, when it’s full, it creates an incredible atmosphere.

"It feels like everyone is right there in the ring with you.

"My manager, Stephen Goodwin, promotes the Boxmania shows and they feature outstanding talent, multiple title fights and an upscale vibe, making it a fantastic experience for both boxers and spectators alike."

Whoever she faces, Parker feels ready for the challenge ahead.

"My preparations have been excellent," the former Stevenage Boxing Club fighter said.

"As with every fight camp, my coach Paul Webber has set a solid structure, and I’m putting in the hard work.

"It’s tough, but I know there’s a purpose behind it all. I’ve felt fit and strong the entire time and have made significant progress, which is enhancing my abilities.

"I anticipate a great fight and expect to take control. I’m bringing a solid crowd to York Hall, so I’m looking forward to an amazing atmosphere.

"Everyone needs to make some noise, and I’ll be bringing my skills to the ring."
