Granby B took full advantage of a rearranged game to move further clear at the top of the North Herts Darts League

Playing away to Simply St Nics, they picked up a 7-2 success to make it nine wins from nine games and move six points clear of the other unbeaten side in the league, Shephall Centre.

 

Paul Hale landed a 180 along the way with the highest checkout also belonging to one of their players, Richard Impey clearing up from 160, the highest in the league so far this season.

The pairs competition in the Stevenage Friday Darts League has its finalists.

Paul Mulcare and John Lees of Granby B will go up against Mason Bambridge and Alfie Henebery of Chells Club in the men's pairs while another Granby pair, Toni Impey and Sue Stearn, are through in the ladies' competition.

They will face Kim Barrett and Thora S of Postels Lads & Lasses.

Impey and Lees will be on opposing sides in the final of the mixed pairs.

Impey will team up with Granby team-mate Colin Bird to face Lees and Karen Barrett of Chells Club.

The league is headed by Old Red Lion ahead of Granby's B and A teams.
