Blueharts and Stevenage met in three fixtures in the East Hockey League - with the Hitchin club claiming all the victories.
The ladies' third team beat Stevenage seconds 3-0 with goals from Karen Gallagher, Jules Rees and Kat McLarty.
Lizzy Bayley was also outstanding in an excellent team performance from the Hitchin side in Division Three South West.
It lifts them to second while Stevenage are sixth.
Blueharts men's fifth team also played, and beat, Stevenage seconds, their win 5-3.
Ed McGreggor got two of them with Joel Davey, Pete Mitchell and Ben Philipson getting the others.
And the eighths beat Stevenage fourths 3-0 in Division Seven, extending their unbeaten run to six.
Max Bond (two) and skipper Dan Holden got the goals.
The Blueharts first team lost 4-0 to East Premier Division leaders City of Peterborough.
They created plenty of chances but were handed a lesson in finishing from their opponents, helping boost the unflattering scoreline.
The seconds enjoyed their best win of the season as they thrashed Saffron Walden 7-2.
Ollie Wright set the threes on the way to victory at Bedford with the opening goal – Brandon Mahrra and a brilliant effort from Harry Storey rounded off the scoring in the 3-1 win.
And that result moves them above the fourths on goal difference in Division Three South West, the fours going down to a late goal and a 1-0 defeat at home to unbeaten leaders Royston.
Another Paul Krishman hat-trick formed the centrepiece of the 4-0 success for the sixths against Harpenden, Dave Moore grabbing the other goal.
And the sevenths were also clinical in front of goal against Welwyn Garden City.
Two goals each for Alec Gadsden and George Raynor and one from Harry Palmer, his first for the club, sealed a 5-1 win.
For the ladies, the seconds notched a second successive win after they beat St Albans 2-0 in Division Two, second-half goals from Sophie Featherby and Kiki Arellano doing the damage.
Ally Antoniou was the player of the match performance.
Abbie Johnson and Ella Lock scored the goals which earned the fifths a 2-1 win at Hertford and the sixths were too strong for Welwyn Garden City, winning 6-1.
The sevenths lost 5-0 though at Shefford & Sandy.
For Stevenage, the day didn't get too much better after the losses to Blueharts with only two sides winning.
The ladies' first team were one of them, their 2-0 victory at home to Shefford & Sandy putting them third in the Division Two table having won four and drawn one of their seven games.
And there was a 3-0 success for the men's third team away to Southgate Adelaide in Division Five, their second of the season.
Keith Noble got things started with a goal in the fifth minute but they had to wait until the second half before they could add to that, Joshua Lake scoring on 64 minutes followed by one from Tim Brewer five minutes later.
The ladies' third team lost 1-0 to Bedford but were delighted with their performance against the unbeaten Division Three leaders.
The winner came inside the final inside as Stevenage displayed a huge amount of grit, determination and resilient hockey.
The men's first team lost 7-2 away to Luton Town to sit 10th in Division Two.
