If there was a doubt over what was going on the TV's of the Stevenage coach as it headed back down the A1, Jake Young felt the need to quickly dispel it.
The striker, signed from Bradford City on deadline day, opened his Boro account with an arrow straight free-kick, thumped into the top corner in the 1-0 win at Mansfield Town.
And that deserves plenty of views he reckons.
“Yeah, it was alright I think,” he said with a laugh. “One of my better ones.
“I haven’t seen it back yet but I’ve got three hours to watch it on a loop on the coach.
"We've got takers for deeper free-kicks and to deliver them but I think free-kicks in around the box is just for anyone who kind of fancies it, who puts their name on it.
"Obviously it depends on what side it is, maybe even who's won it, but we don't always have an out and out set-piece taker if Harvey [White] is not on for the shooting distance ones.
"But I just thought ‘I fancy this’. It was an area that I like to shoot from and do I put my name on it.
"I was just hoping I didn’t put it in row Z.
"It was a big wall so I was hoping [Christy Pym] gambled. I've watched a few of his things and he [often] has a little step to the other side.
"So I thought if I get it on target, the lads can follow up if he makes a save.
"But yeah, it wasn’t bad, and hopefully I can do it again."

His late arrival at the club, coupled with a lack of games last season after injury, has left him playing catch up.
He thinks he is getting there though.
"It's a great place to work but I was not surprised coming in, I knew what to expect – I had to get up to the levels that the lads have set," said Young, who was relieved to open his account.
"I know I've had a couple of chances and I’ve kicked myself for a couple where I think I should score.
"I hope the fans can see that performances from myself have been getting better and better.
"I still want to build on that and I know that I can improve and getting a run of games, getting the minutes in, is only going to improve me on my sharpness and my fitness coming back from an injury,
"Hopefully now I've got one, the floodgates will open."
As for the game itself, a first away win of the season for Boro and a first at home for the Stags, Young believes it showed both sides of their ability.
He said: "We showed what we're about in the first half in terms of being on the ball. We looked exciting and dangerous going forward.
"We had most of the play, most of the chances, most of the good bits of play and then second-half we showed everyone what they can expect from this Stevenage side.
"We dig our heels in and we'll do the dirty side of the game and the last ditch defending to get over the line.
"What a three points though. Coming somewhere like this is always tough and they have obviously had a good start to the season.
"We knew we were probably going to get a different team in the second half to the first.
"They were going to get a bit of a telling off and we knew we’d have to weather a storm and we did.
"A great day all round."
