Stevenage have confirmed that one of their squad is heading out on loan - midfielder Ben Thompson.
The 28-year-old has flitted in and out of the side since joining from Peterborough, mostly out, and with the prospect of more of the same to come, Boro have organised time for him away from the club.
That will be with League Two newcomers Bromley, the Ravens having been promoted via the play-offs last time out.
And they have started well in the EFL, two wins and a defeat in their first three league games leaving them seventh.
According to Boro boss Alex Revell though, Thompson just needs game time.
"He's been in and out of the team since he joined," said the manager, "just struggled to really cement his own place.
"What’s important is, if you're not involved as much as you want to be, you just want to play games.
"And as you grow older it becomes more frustrating when you're not involved.
"We want him to play games so we’ve said to him since the summer that he had to come in and prove himself, but ultimately game time might be a struggle for him.
"He's gone to Bromley and hopefully he plays lots of games and shows people what a good player he is and gets that consistency that he needs in his game."
Goalkeeper Rylee Mitchell has also left on loan, signing for National League North Oxford City for an initial month while Ken Aboh has moved to Boro temporarily from Norwich City.
