They were the top two teams in League Two last year and Stevenage manager Steve Evans is looking forward to locking horns once again with Leyton Orient.
Stevenage picked up four points against Richie Wellens' side last term but it was the east London side who won the title, with Boro in second.
That was the right outcome said the Lamex Stadium boss.
He said: "You do battle over the course of the season and when you look at it as a whole, they were the rightful champions.
"Every week we would come in after winning and they’d have won again but I did live TV with Richie for the play-offs and he said the same.
"He felt, after 15 games, they’d had their best start they could ever imagine and we were a point behind them.
"It was two very competitive games last year. We were fortunate to get a point away but we deserved to beat them at home.
"We’ll do battle again and there will be a great atmosphere. We’ll take a healthy support and the O’s always have good backing at home.
"I’m looking forward to it."
Both sides are very different these days with Evans pointed at a revamped front three for Orient a proof of that.
But with certain characteristics unchanged, he believes they can take things forward to the game at Brisbane Road.
He said: "They are a good side but we can take positives from last year. We competed with a very good sie and our aim is to compete with them on Saturday.
"If we can add to our points tally then it will be a fantastic start after six games and if we go there and win, it’s as good as we can imagine.
"The objective for us is slightly different from Leyton Orient this year.
"With the finances they have, they are probably under a bit of pressure to be in that top group. I’m not saying get promoted, but be in that top group.
"Our ambitions are slightly more curtailed than that but that doesn’t stop you wanting and aspiring to be in that top group."
