Stevenage have bolstered their defensive options with the capture of a young Manchester City starlet.
Finley Burns moved to Eastlands from Southend United back in 2017 when the centre-half was just 13-year-old.
He won the FA Youth Cup in 2020 and made his first-team debut for the Premier League champions in September 2021 when he started in the 6-1 League Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers.
He spent the second half of that 2021-2022 season on loan at Swansea City in the Championship, making three appearances.
He was partof City's third successive PL2 title win last season as well as playing in the UEFA Youth League.
Now 20-year-old, he arrives at the Lamex Stadium on a season-long loan and joins fellow centre-backs Carl Piergianni, Dan Sweeney, Nathan Thompson, Terence Vancooten and Luther James-Wildin, who has played there during pre-season.
