The first of Stevenage's released players has found a new home - Jake Taylor agreeing a deal with National League Eastleigh.
The 31-year-old spent two years with Boro after moving to Hertfordshire from Exeter City.
He has now agreed a permanent deal with the Spitfires, who finished last season ninth, four points outside of the play-offs.
Speaking on his new club's website, Taylor said: "I’m very excited. It’ll probably be a little while before pre-season comes around so I’ll enjoy time with my family at home.
"When it’s time to come back, we’ll get cracking."
Lee Bradbury, his new gaffer, said: "Jake’s been somebody I’ve liked for years. He is a great central midfielder with energy and can run the game with his intelligence and his play.
"He gets goals as well as being a really good team player.
"It’s a marquee signing for the football club to attract somebody that has been promoted out of League Two this season is excellent.
"Thank you to the club for allowing me to sign him."
