The future is very bright at Hitchin Rugby Club after their all-conquering colts picked up another league title.
It was the the second season in a row that the young U18 side have marched to the summit of the Herts Middlesex League and they won every match in the process.
A spokesman for the club said: "The players built on their success from last season, continuing to display great commitment and teamwork and at the same time incorporating the new U17s contingent.
"They played excellent rugby throughout the season and were good ambassadors for the club and youth rugby in general.
"The former U17 players will go on to play in the 2023-2024 colts team, whilst the former U18 players will hopefully step up into adult rugby, whether that is at Hitchin or wherever they may find themselves.
"Their now ex-coaches wish them all the best."
