Arlesey Town shifted themselves out of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division relegation places with a draw away to Ardley United.

Josh Allen's goal on 27 minutes, his first for the club and scored after the goalkeeper couldn't hold a Layne Eadie pile-driver, cements their position in mid-table and just keeps any threat of relegation at arm's length.
There could have been more too, Fin Wilkinson hitting the post from a free-kick eight minutes from time while also bending another set-piece just past the upright.
The Canaries were also indebted to a good save from Charlie Horlock to deny Callum Ebanks who broke clear in the first half.
