There were plenty of goals around for Stevenage Hockey Club - but not always to their benefit.
Most of them were in the men's section and the biggest scoring game was the firsts 7-5 win over Shefford & Sandy in East League Division Two South West.
The seven were split between three scorers, Mike Oliver hitting a hat-trick while Aiden Parker and Niall Trimble shared the others.
There were 10 goals as the bottom of the table seconds hosted top of the league Royston, the leaders getting all of them unfortunately.
And there were five as the thirds came out on the wrong side of a battle at home with West Herts.
Roger Barlow put them in front but by the time they scored again through Ian Jackson, West Herts had three.
The fourths won though, beating Hertford 2-1 on the road.
James Smith got the first and while the hosts equalised after the break, Paul Rose bagged the winner from a Geoff Tew cross.
It was a pretty miserable weekend though for the ladies with only the seconds avoiding defeat thanks to a 1-1 draw against Hertford.
Jude Seller finally got their equaliser with 10 minutes to go after pummelling the home goal.
The firsts lost 2-1 away to Ipswich & East Suffolk in Division One South, Hannah Gardner getting their only goal in the first half, while the fourths were beaten 2-1 at St Albans Boadiceas and the fifths went down 2-0 at home to Bedford.
