Liam Gooch has signed his first professional contract at Luton Town.
The youth team goalkeeper, who lives in Stotfold, played a key role in the U18 team’s Football League Youth Alliance double last season.
The 18-year-old has been described as ‘an important cog’ in the team by academy and development manager Andy Awford and has now set his sights on following the likes of James Justin and Frankie Musonda in making the step up from the academy to the first team.
