A BUSY weekend turned out to be slightly less busy than originally planned as the annual Stevenage Leisure Indoor Bowls Club match against the Senior Citizens had to be cancelled.

In the matches that were played the club travelled to Riverain for a match against Letchworth and District and won on one rink through skip Steve Wilson's side but then lost on five others, losing by 38 shots altogether.

The club then played Howard Gardens, Letchworth GC, and drew on one rink, won on two rinks and lost on one, winning by 74-65.
