Two drivers suffered minor injuries after their cars collided on the A602 between Stevenage and Hitchin this morning.
The crash happened about 9am near Ashbrook – which is located between the two towns where the dual carriageways merge into single lanes.
The westbound carriageway had to be closed while the vehicles were recovered.
Fire and ambulance crews were also called.
One of the drivers was assessed at the scene, the other was helped from their vehicle by fire crews and taken to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital.
