Tributes have been paid to a "caring, thoughtful and helpful" police officer who died suddenly while on duty.
Police Constable Bruce Lister, 57, was a forensic collision investigator based at Stevenage Police Station with the Beds, Cambs and Herts Road Policing Unit.
There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, Herts police have said.
“Everyone who was lucky enough to have met Bruce knew what a genuinely caring, thoughtful, helpful person he was," PC Lister's partner, Janine, said.
“Words can’t describe how much Bruce will truly be missed, as a partner, step-father, best friend and soulmate.”
Bruce’s children, Catherine and Megan, said he was "the best dad we could have ever asked for".
