The jury was this morning sworn in for the trial of a woman accused of murdering her half-sister in Letchworth.
Yvonne Caylor, 53, of Grove Road in Hitchin, is accused of murdering Nicola Collingbourne on May 23 this year at the 26-year-old’s Ivel Court home in Letchworth.
Prosecutor John Price QC, who began his opening statement very shortly before proceedings at Luton Crown Court were adjourned for lunch, told the jury of seven men and five women the case could be described as a ‘whodunnit’.
Ms Caylor denies murder. The case continues.
