As ever, the end of the week brings a fresh round of public notices for North Hertfordshire residents to be aware of.

Here are a few planning applications which could impact residents across the district.
1. Conversion of offices into 49 residential flats in Hitchin

The plans include changing agricultural buildings into 5 residential dwellings with all associated building works at Porters End House on Porters End Lane.

3. Conversion of first floor and second floor offices into two residential dwellings in Letchworth Garden City at 19 Leys Avenue.

4. A proposal affecting the setting of a listed building and affecting a conservation area in Letchworth Garden City.
The proposal includes alterations to existing windows, upgrade existing thermal efficiency, replace existing rooflights with conservation rooflights, infill existing rear porch to create weatherproof area, and installation of external drain. In addition to internal alterations.
The proposal affects the Standalone Farmhouse on Wilbury Road.

5. A proposal to change of use to restaurant and hot food takeaway in Hitchin.
The change includes the installation of a ventilation system on the rear roof and enlarge existing roof light/roof hatch at 32 Sun Street. (Development has commenced).
