Police officers have been carrying out high visibility crime prevention work in North Herts to tackle fly-tipping, speeding and poaching.
Residents in Kimpton had reported speeding through the High Street, so Neighbourhood Policing Team PCSO Chris Brabrook and PCSO Nat Skinner were there last week to remind people to slow down.
Also in the village, PCSO Heather Burrows carried out a Safer Streets visit, which included conducting an anti-social behaviour survey.
PC Natasha Redman said: "As well as the speeding operation in Kimpton, we were also in Breachwood Green and surrounding villages after a spate of fly-tipping and pheasant poaching.
"Fly-tipping is a criminal offence, and we were stopping relevant vehicles to check their waste disposal licences. Anyone found to be fly-tipping will be dealt with robustly."
