Hitchin's new GAIL's store opened for the first time today (November 29), as customers flocked to try out the bakery's tasty pastries and coffee.
GAIL's moved into 16 Bancroft - which has stood empty since Monsoon closed - with the impressive makeover creating a bright and airy space.
With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, customers went along to see what the new bakery was all about on a busy opening day.
Offering plenty of sweet and savoury pastries, sandwiches, cakes and coffee, GAIL's look set to be popular with Hitchin residents.
The chain has long been a hit with customers since opening its first bakery in London back in 2005.
GAIL's now has over 100 branches and is showing no signs of slowing down - announcing plans earlier this year to keep expanding.
