Britpop icons Supergrass have been announced as headliners for Bedford Summer Sessions.

The band will take to the stage on Saturday, July 12, and play their iconic debut album, I Should Coco, in full to celebrate the 30th anniversary.

Released in 1995, it became an instant classic, earning Supergrass a number one spot on the UK album chart and spawning infectious hit Alright.

Supergrass will be joined on the bill by singer Willie J Healey and The Coral, who scored a number of Top 10 hits in the early 2000s with Dreaming of You and In The Morning.

The announcement now makes for a jam-packed summer of in Bedford, with Simple Minds set to perform on Thursday, July 3, followed by Rag 'n' Bone Man on Saturday, July 5.
