There is major disruption to train services in Hertfordshire this morning (November 27), after flooding in London caused delays and cancellations.
A flooded railway tunnel in the Farringdon area, caused by Storm Conall, has seen Cambridge to Brighton services suspended, with railway users being asked not to travel until this afternoon.
Although the lines have now been cleared, disruption is continuing across the east of England, with a points failure at East Croydon and "multiple incidents between London Blackfriars and London St Pancras International" also being blamed.
"Multiple incidents across the Thameslink, Gatwick Express and Southern networks means many lines are disrupted," read an updated from Network Rail.
"As a result, trains across the network may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
"Disruption is now expected until 2pm."
Thameslink said trains that normally run between St Albans and Sutton would run only between St Albans and Kentish Town.
