There are long delays in Stevenage this morning after a town centre road was forced to close due to emergency works.
The northbound carriageway of A1155 St George's Way is closed from the junction with Six Hills Way to Fairlands Way, due to work urgently needing to be carried out.
The closure has led to delays on Six Hills Way itself and the A602.
Herts Highways has not confirmed how long the road will be closed for, but is asking motorists to avoid the area.
