There is a risk of flooding in some parts of North Hertfordshire, following heavy rainfall.
A flood alert for the River Ivel has been issued by the Government.
A spokesperson said: "River levels are high in response to recent rainfall from Storm Bert. Flooding is possible over the course of today (Monday, November 25).
"Areas most at risk are around the River Ivel, from Langford to Blunham, including the rivers Purwell, Hiz, Flit and Hit.
"The weather forecast is for drier conditions today and tomorrow.
"Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation."
