A fire station has raised £1,000 for a bereavement support charity.
Stand-by-me Bereavement Support said it was "thrilled" with the donation from Hitchin Fire Station.
The money was raised at the fire station's open day in September.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "This generous donation will make a significant impact on the lives of the bereaved children, young people, and families we support.
"A massive thank you to the dedicated firefighters at Hitchin Fire Station and to everyone who contributed and participated in the open day in September.
"This event was a fantastic reminder of the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together.
"The support from Hitchin Fire Station enables us to continue providing vital bereavement support to those in need within Hitchin and the surrounding areas."
