Following a recent inspection, Ofsted has rated this Hitchin secondary school 'outstanding' in all areas leading to great celebration for its staff and pupils.
The leadership team at Hitchin Girls' School are "incredibly proud" to have achieved the exemplary report.
During the two day inspection, Ofsted said the schools' values "are lived and breathed by pupils and staff" allowing students to achieve "exceptionally strong" results.
Headteacher James Crowther added: "It is a real point of celebration that Hitchin Girls’ School has achieved an ‘outstanding’ judgement in each of the areas reported on in the inspection.
"The inspection process was rigorous and involved all stakeholders; I am incredibly proud of the students and staff for all that they do on a daily basis and it is great to see this hard work and commitment to the school, our community, and each other reflected in the report.
"The inspection team were effusive in their praise and it was deeply satisfying to hear the inspection team confirm that students, staff and the quality of education will continue to thrive at Hitchin Girls’ School.
"I'd like to thank every member of the school community, and our wider community partners, for contributing to the exceptional experience we offer at Hitchin Girls' School."
Inspectors observed lessons at the secondary school and researched its provision of curriculum, environment, staff and SEND education.
Pupils were praised by the education watchdog as they "relish reaching their goals and their successes" that are "reflected in their achievements" - behaving well in the process.
The report also highlighted the quality of educational leaders saying: "Leaders have carefully crafted a curriculum that is broad and ambitious for all pupils.
"In each subject, including vocational courses, leaders have sequenced the important knowledge and skills that pupils need to secure."

Teachers are said to use their "subeject expertise" very well, giving "timely feedback" and swiftly addressing any "misconceptions" that students have.
In regard to SEND education the report said: "Staff receive appropriate training to make adaptations to their teaching and the curriculum as needed.
"As a result, pupils with SEND are well supported and included in the full life of the school."
The wider curriculum and extra-curricular activities were also commended, with pupils wider personal development labelled as "exceptional".
