Four men in Stevenage have been arrested after police seized a large quantity of class A drugs hidden in underwear, along with a quantity of cash.
Arrests were made on Friday after officers spotted suspicious behaviour in Claymores.
Drugs were discovered and seized, along with a quantity of cash.
A 34-year-old man from Waltham Cross was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, along with two men from Stevenage, aged 22 and 34.
A 23-year-old from Stevenage was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of class B drugs.
Then yesterday (Monday), while out on patrol, Operation Scorpion officers witnessed some suspicious behaviour in Argyle Way.
An 18-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs, after packages were found following a body search. A quantity of cash was also seized.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "It’s been a pants few days for suspected drug dealers in Stevenage, with our Operation Scorpion team seizing a large quantity of class A drugs hidden in underwear, as well as other finds.
"We are committed to targeting those who commit drug crime in our town, so please continue to pass on any information to us."
