Permission has been granted for offices in Stevenage town centre to be turned into flats.
Stevenage Borough Council has approved the change of use of the first and second floors above the TUI Holiday Store at 31 Queensway from office use to residential.
The plan is to create eight one-bedroom flats.
In the application for change of use, the developer says: "Every habitable room in the new proposed dwellings is provided with natural light through large windows on the north elevation.
"In addition, the second floor dwellings will all have roof windows.
"The existing windows on the south elevation are to be retained."
Last week, the Comet reported that there are plans to turn offices from 40 to 56 Queensway into 18 one-bedroom flats - above shops including The Perfume Shop, Vodafone, Holland and Barrett, Vision Express, Pandora and Wenzel's the Bakers.
