The A505 Baldock Bypass is subject to resurfacing works next week for the "comfort" of road users.
Herts Highways has announced maintenance works to help renew the old road surface, clean road drains, and reinstate roadmarkings and studs.
Road closures will be implemented between Monday, November 18, - Friday, November 22 from 8pm-5am on the following roads:
- Westbound between A505/B197 London Road Roundabout and A1(M) junction 9 Roundabout.
- B197 Jacks Hill down to A1(M) junction 8 with access only, no through traffic to A505.
An X post by Herts highways read: "We are completing resurfacing works on A505 Baldock Bypass from 18 November for the increased comfort and safety of all road users as the surface has become worn due to high traffic volume."
