A life coach from Hitchin has risen to the top of a nationwide search for the best office baker in Britain.
Emma Greenslade will be representing Hertfordshire when she competes against Natalie Steer from Oxfordshire and Charlotte Dibble from Rutland in the live final today at London’s Divertimenti Cookery School.
The candidates will be going head to head in an attempt to create their best carrot cakes in front of a panel of judges which includes the award-winning food writer Jo Pratt, Jules Kane, head of Divertimenti Cookery School, and Heidi Thomas, head of marketing at DK Household Brands, which includes Zyliss.
Emma said: "I bring years of experience and a passion for creating tasty treats that everyone loves.
“Having worked as a chef in my early 20s, I’m able to whip up a variety of bakes that go down a treat, from apple cake to cookies.”
Heidi Thomas from DK Household Brands said: “Our Best Office Baker contest has been an incredible journey, allowing us to discover the hidden baking talents that light up offices across the UK.”
The winner will take home the Zyliss Baker’s Dozen Kit, a premium selection of 13 essential baking tools from the Zyliss range.
