A Letchworth-based hospice is aiming to collect more than 1,500 Christmas trees during their annual Christmas Treecycling service.

Garden House Hospice Care will be running the service for the seventh consecutive year.

The hospice will collect and recycle real trees in exchange for a donation towards its work.

It aims to collect more than 1,500 trees and raise more than £30,000, which could fund their entire services for two days.

Adam Brockett, product and events development lead at Garden House Hospice Care, said: "Christmas Treecycling has always been very successful and we’re thrilled to be able to run the service again in 2025 – hopefully bigger and better.

"It’s a win-win really."

The hospice will collect trees from postcodes SG1-9, SG15-18, and AL6.

Bookings must be made by January 1 and collections will take place from January 4 to 9, 2025.

To prepare your tree for collection, the hospice asks that all decorations, lights, and tinsel are removed and the tree is left outside in a specified location.
