Hundreds of people of all ages and backgrounds gathered together in Stevenage yesterday (November 10) to pay their respects and remember the fallen on Remembrance Sunday.

(Image: Keith Fenwick) Stevenage mayor Jim Brown, the town's MP Kevin Bonavia, councillors, representatives from the Royal British Legion and other dignitaries gathered at the Bowling Green in the High Street for the Remembrance Sunday parade and service.

(Image: Keith Fenwick) The parade of many community groups and organisations marched from the Primett Road car park, through the High Street to the War Memorial on the Bowling Green, where the Service of Remembrance and laying of wreaths were held.

(Image: The Nobel School) Today, Armistice Day (November 11), a service was held at the Joyride statue in Stevenage's Town Square, led by Reverend Karen Mitchell from St Andrew and St George’s Church.
