Letchworth's festive ice rink is set to return later this month, having been extended.
The popular winter attraction will open on November 23, running through to January 12, with bookings now open.
For the fourth year, the Letchworth Lido terrace will be transformed into an ice rink.
This year, the rink will be 20 per cent larger, accommodating up to 100 skaters at 30 metres long.
Councillor Mick Debenham, North Herts Council’s executive member for leisure, said: "We’re delighted to see the ice rink returning to Letchworth – it’s such a highlight for our community."
Everyone Active, in partnership with North Herts Council, is introducing a variety of new sessions aimed at making the rink more inclusive.
These include quiet sessions for individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), with no disco lights or music, and dedicated sessions for seniors.
There will also be under-5's skating, "Skating with Santa" sessions, and disco skating events.
Paul Dunstan, general manager of the facility, said: "We’re excited to bring the ice rink back to Letchworth this year, and even more thrilled to introduce a wide variety of new sessions."
Tickets can be booked online on everyoneactive.com/centre/letchworth-lido or by calling Letchworth Lido on 01462 684673.
