A vandal has caused more than £200,000 worth of damage after scratching shop fronts in Hitchin.
It was reported that between 2am and 3am on Sunday, October 26, an object was used to scratch 15 shop fronts on Bancroft, Hermitage Road and Nightingale Road.
Police have now launched a criminal damage investigation, with PC William Cox, of the North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Enquiries into this incident have been ongoing.
"As part of that I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the person in the footage, I appreciate it is not the clearest, however someone may recognise the person from their clothing and build.
