A new homeware store is set to open in Hitchin after taking over a vacant town centre unit.
11a and 11b Bancroft have stood empty since last August when The Works closed down due to being "unable to agree a viable rent agreement".
Now, Home Land is set to move into the units, with signs going up outside and job adverts for staff being placed in the window.
Little information about the store is available, but signage states that it will stock household goods, kitchenware, bedding, electronics, souvenirs and gifts.
No opening date has been confirmed, but work inside has already begun.
