A thief has stolen jewellery from a victim in Letchworth, with police now launching a CCTV appeal as part of their investigation.
The incident occurred on Thursday, October 17 at around 11.15am, when it was reported that the suspect began walking alongside and starting a conversation with the victim before walking in the opposite direction.
Shortly afterwards, the victim realised that a ring and necklace had been taken.
PC Zak Watson said: "We are releasing this image as we believe the person pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have vital information that will help our investigation.
