The Cock and Bull Band will perform at the next Unicorn Ceilidh in Baldock, with attendees invited to join the high-energy dance.

The ceilidh will take place at St Mary's Church on Friday, November 8, and dances will be announced by caller Michael Catovsky.

One of the UK's leading ceilidh bands, The Cock and Bull Band has an "eclectic mix" of instruments and styles.

The band features Paul Martin on mandocello, Pete Lockwood on keyboards and percussion, Vanda Sainsbury on sax, clarinet and recorder and Lynn Swain on flute and whistle.

Michael Catovsky has been a regular caller with the band for many years, and will guide dancers through the moves.

Entertainment during the interval will be provided by St Albans-based dance group Tappalachian, performing their take on the step dancing tradition of the Appalachians in the USA.

Tickets are available from www.unicornceilidhs.org.uk and cost £13 for adults, with children's and concession tickets available.
