The Aldi supermarket in Stevenage has reopened, following an extension and refurbishment of the store.
Shoppers at Aldi on Fairlands Way can now benefit from a larger retail space of 1,229sqm.
Aldi says the new format has been created to make shopping easier for customers, with the store now having more space and clearer signs.
Fresh bread and cakes have been moved to the last aisle, preventing them from getting squashed under customers’ shopping, and the store now offers easy-to-browse freezers.
Stevenage customers can also take a walk down the 'Aisle of Aldi', where they will find Specialbuys, which are available every Thursday and Sunday.
The store will be run by Kyle Fitzgerald, along with a team of 36 colleagues from the community.
Kyle said: "The team and I are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers, and supplying our community with the everyday amazing products we have available.
"Hopefully the new-look store will make shopping at Aldi Stevenage that bit easier and more comfortable."
Following its reopening, the supermarket will be open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and from 9.30am to 4pm on Sundays.
