Running from October 14 to 20, UK Coffee Week is a celebration of roasters and shops across the nation.
To mark the occasion, we've put together a list of the seven best coffee shops in Stevenage and North Hertfordshire.
1. Fussey and Baer - Hitchin
The always busy Fussey and Baer is one of Hitchin's most popular coffee shops.
Working with the award-winning Square Mile Coffee Roasters and welcoming guest roasters every month, they offer some of the best beans around.
"Whilst Fussey & Baer understand that a good shop, quality coffee and amazing produce are crucial, the key ingredient for success is our team," their website reads.
"The enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism of every staff member helps us give everyone the opportunity to discover a real cup of coffee."
2. Ziba - Hitchin
If you want yourself a strong coffee, then Ziba could be the place for you.
You can get all the coffee classics, but we would recommend their Turkish coffee, which has a bold, rich and intense flavour we know you'll love.
And if you want a bite to eat, Ziba offers up some delicious and hearty Mediterranean meals that really hit the taste buds.
3. No12 Coffee House - Letchworth
Independent and family-run, No12 Coffee House is the place to be in Letchworth.
Offering a wide range of artisan coffees, teas, sandwiches and snacks in a spacious unit on Leys Avenue, you won't find a better place for a cuppa in the town.
For those who want to take a little something home, No12 has a wonderful pantry area full of tasty produce.
4. Hitchin Coffee Lab - Hitchin
If you're a mocha lover like me, you'll find the best at Hitchin Coffee Lab.
Nestled on Sun Street, the venue offers great coffee and plenty of tasty snacks in a cosy space which is perfect for a day of work or meeting with friends.
And if you can't get enough of their beans, you can even get a bag to take home with you.
5. Batch Fifty Two - Baldock
If you're after great coffee and food in Baldock, then Batch Fifty Two is the place to be.
Winner of the Muddy Stilettos Best Café award earlier this year, the Church Street spot serves up speciality coffee from Plot Roasting, and even has bags you can take home.
If you want a bite to eat, they have plenty of healthy sandwiches, salads and bowls, which you can finish off with a tasty sweet treat which are all baked in-house.
6. Flower Power - Stevenage
Looking for the best coffee in Stevenage? Flower Power in High Street is where you should be going.
Offering up yummy coffee and sweet treats, you can enjoy surrounded by beautiful flowers, with the café also doubling as a florist.
Don't believe us? Go and see for yourself.
7. Hermitage Rd. Coffee and Bagel Bar - Hitchin
The Hermitage Restaurant and Bar were already incredibly popular in Hitchin, but when the business expanded to open a coffee and bagel bar, people flocked from far and wide.
As well as tasty bagels, you can get a cup of coffee you won't find anywhere else.
"We use Caixa Da Fruta Coffee, which translates to 'Box of Fruits', roasted & supplied by Hot Numbers Coffee Roasters, which is unique to Hermitage Rd.," their website reads.
