With Halloween creeping round the corner, witches and zombies are getting ready for all the spook-tacular events across Hertfordshire this year.
Goblins, ghouls, and vampires alike are looking for fun and freaky events for the whole family to enjoy this Halloween.
There are several eerie events to choose from this year, all offering a variety of spooky surprises across the county.
With this in mind, we’ve put together a list of great Halloween events to enjoy in Hertfordshire.
1. Knebworth Gardens Halloween Adventure
Get your broomsticks, hats, and magic wands at the ready to swoop into a spooky Halloween Adventure coming to Knebworth Garden on October 29, 30 and 31.
The Halloween Adventure is designed for little ones aged three to ten and offers several fun Halloween games and activities across the gardens.
The Garden Terrace Tea Room will be offering a range of Halloween sweet treats as well as a selection of Autumnal soups and sandwiches.

2. ‘Scary Tale’ musical in Letchworth
‘Scary Tale,’ a family Halloween musical is being performed by charity dramatics group, Variety Express, during October half-term (October 31 – November 3) at St Francis’ College Theatre in Letchworth.
Evening and matinee shows are available for this ‘terrifyingly hilarious tale,’ with profits being donated to local charities, including MNDA Hertfordshire and the Young Carers Crew in Stevenage.

3. Halloween Spookfest in Ardeley
Come and meet the animals and enjoy some spooky rustic fun at Church Farm in Aredley for Halloween Spookfest, running from October 19 to 31.
All ages are welcome to Halloween Spookfest with a variety of creepy activities on offer, such as a Spooky Farm Trail, a Scarecrow Trail and tractor and digger ride-ons.
What’s more, ‘Spooktacular Stickers’ are on offer for the best dressed, boys, girls and dogs!

4. Pumpkin Patch at Standalone Farm
Standalone Farm in Letchworth is offering its first ever Pumpkin Patch Event, starting from October 12 until November 1.
A wide selection of pumpkins are available in various sizes with countless photo opportunities across the patch.

5. Halloween Pumpkin Pop! in Ickleford
On October 31, Ickleford Village Hall is welcoming Luna Dance and Windy the Dancing Witch for an interactive and immersive show, aimed for ages 18 months to 8 years.
Windy’s bewitching performance offers dancing, stories, craft activities and a mini disco with bags of trick or treat sweets included with the ticket.

6. A Nightmare at the Priory
A brand-new and fully immersive scare maze is coming to Hitchin Priory Hotel this Halloween, running for ten thrilling days from October 21 to 31.
A Nightmare at the Priory offers live actors, live music, axe throwing, fair rides and more!
Standard entry tickets are offered from ages 14 and up and are priced at £27.75. Child tickets for ages 5-14 are available for £8.50 but are only valid between 4-6pm.

7. Shock Horror at BEAM Hertford
Shock Horror: A Ghost Story is a spine-chilling theatrical experience coming to BEAM (known previously as Hertford Theatre) from November 6 to 9.
Inspired by classic theatre ghost stories, Shock Horror is a journey into a haunted past, combining live performance and big-screen action.
Shock Horror is recommended for viewers aged 12 and up, with tickets priced at £25.
