A school in Stevenage is closed today (Wednesday, October 9) "due to electrical and water issues".
At 8am, parents with children at Giles Junior School received an email informing them that the school will not be open today.
It says: "Unfortunately, due to electrical issues in the new build, and water issues in the old build, we are going to be closing school today.
"We will be contacting you with further information later today.
"We apologise for any inconvenience."
