The Mayor of Stevenage came away with a special sports trading card as he met entrepreneurs at the Business and Technology Centre.
Councillor Jim Brown visited the centre to meet business owners and talk about their contribution to the local economy.
The centre provides office space, business support, and networking opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
During his visit, the mayor was given the chance to make a sports trading card with Majesty Grading Company (MGC), the UK’s leading specialist in grading collectables like Pokémon and sports cards, which he was then given as a memento.
Councillor Brown said: "It was an honour to visit the BTC and meet lots of Stevenage entrepreneurs.
"I enjoyed hearing about their experiences of developing a business, in different sectors and how they access support from the BTC and the council."
Speakers at the event included Kelly Notley from Lawrence Dean Recruitment, Michael Martin from Wenta, Sam Weightman from Haven Charity, and Tracy Goodenough from North Hertfordshire College.
They talked about the support they provide to businesses and the community.
Kelly Notley said: "The event really showcased the business community here at BTC, and it was a pleasure to be involved."
