The B1037 is closed between Walkern and Cromer this morning due to flooding.
More rainfall last night has made the road on the outskirts of Stevenage impassable for motorists, with police putting a closure in place.
"Please be aware B1037 between Cromer and Walkern is closed due to flooding," read a statement from Herts police.
"Motorists are advised to use alternative routes."
