The date for this year's Christmas lights switch-on in Hitchin town centre has been announced.
Get ready to kick off the festive season in style on Saturday, November 16, with a variety of activities before the official switch-on at 6pm.
Live performances from local artists will begin at noon, filling the streets with festive tunes and cheer.
Don't miss Santa’s parade at 5.30pm, as the big man himself makes his way through the town.
Food and drink stalls will be open all day, serving festive treats and drinks to keep you warm and merry.
To top it all off, Hitchin band The New Town Centres will take to the stage to perform just before the Christmas lights switch-on.
