Plans for a phone mast to be installed in a country lane in a North Herts village have been given the green light.
Openreach, on behalf of BT, wants to install a nine-metre-high pole in front of Bibbsworth Hall Farm, in Bibbs Hall Lane, Kimpton, for broadband purposes.
The application site is described as being "on land near a highway and new dwellings in the countryside".
Having submitted the plans to North Herts Council, the council said: "The local planning authority has no objection to the siting and appearance of this proposal, and there are no conditions the local authority would wish to impose."
This gives Openreach the go-ahead to install the new equipment.
