Plans have been submitted for a change of use from Class E (restaurant or café) to a food takeaway - with alterations to the shopfront, and an installation of a canopy and ventilation system.

Changes affect the former Lunchmate at Colonnade Station Place in Letchworth which is permanently closed.

3. Plans to repaint the shopfront of a former Monsoon in Hitchin

The application includes plans to install a metal awning box and a retractable fabric awning as well as repainting the shopfront. Internal alterations will also take place.

In a related planning application, the same property has a proposal for the use of the existing rear hardstanding to become an outdoor seating area.
