A Garden House Hospice staff member has been named a 'Hospice Hero' by Bedfordshire business Tracy's Treasured Keepsakes.
Tracy Fishburn, who creates bears, cushions and blankets from sentimental items of clothing, worked with the Letchworth hospice on the campaign to recognise exceptional members of staff.
Jeanette Farrow, compassionate neighbours manager at the hospice, was named the winner, and will receive a keepsake bear made from the hospice's uniform.
Tracy said: "I received some wonderful nominations, it was lovely to read through them and choosing just one hero was really hard.
"The amazing staff at the hospice deserve every bit of recognition for their hard work and dedication."
Jeanette started working at the hospice in November 2017, and her role was to develop the community service to try to combat loneliness and social isolation.

She was presented with her personalised bear on Friday, September 13, surrounded by some of her colleagues - including Garden House Hospice chief executive Lisa Hunt.
Jeanette said: "It means a lot because one I love the blue bear but it's also recognition for the whole team, including the wonderful volunteers that commit to making the difference in peoples lives.
"It is them that deserves an award."
