Sandon's annual fete will celebrate French connections with cooking and a dog show.

The fete will be held on the village green and in the village hall from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, September 22.

Proceeds will go towards updating facilities at All Saints’ Church, Sandon.

Opened by the village's most recent bride, the fete includes a dog show with 12 novelty categories - such as 'waggiest tail' and 'scruffiest dog' - alongside more traditional ones.
