A man has been arrested in Hitchin this morning (September 2) on suspicion of shoplifting and driving without insurance.
The man, a 47-year-old from Offley, was arrested and had his vehicle seized by police officers in Portmill Lane.
A spokesperson for Herts police said: "He is currently in police custody and his car is on its way to the pound."
