The installation of two phone masts in Letchworth has been given the green light by North Herts Council.
BT wants to install two 10-metre-high wooden poles on grass verges in Cashio Lane and Paynes Close, for fixed line broadband electronic communications apparatus.
In response to an application by Openreach, on behalf of BT, North Herts Council said: "The planning authority has no objection to the siting and appearance of this proposal, and there are no conditions the local authority would wish to impose."
This gives BT the green light to proceed with its plans.
